When will the castle arrive?
We will call you the night before the hire to finalise arrangements and give you a delivery time. We aim to get all hires delivered and set up before lunch time at the latest. On busy days we start delivering from 8am. Castles are collected from 6pm onwards.

Does it take long to set castle up?
Depending on the size of the castle, it usually takes about 10 to 20 minutes. All the castles inflate in less than a minute. It takes a bit longer to deflate them.

How much notice do I have to give of booking?
The more notice the better, you can hire on the day, provided we have anything available, and as we do not have a wet weather cancellation fee you have nothing to loose by booking early.

How much room do I need?
Each castle is different. A general rule is to add 3 feet to either side, about 6 feet at the back for the fan and about the same at the front for safety mat.

Do you do indoor hires?
Yes, we do a lot of indoor hires, some people don't want to take the risk of cancelling the party due to bad weather, so they generally hire a hall. We can provide a list of local indoor venues suitable for parties for you to choose from.

What surface can the castle sit on?
Most flat surfaces, preferably grass. Please ensure that the site for the bouncy castle is clear of sharp objects such as nails, any debris, large stones and Dog Dirt. We use ground sheets to protect the surface of any grass area.

How do you secure the castle on hard ground?
When pegs can't be used, on hard ground, or wooden floors indoors, we use bags of gravel to anchor the corners of the castle.

Does the fan have to be on all the time?
Yes, because of the way the castles are made, air escapes through the seams, the fan runs constantly, this is what helps to keep the castle rigid.

Do I need to provide you with an extension for electricity?
No, we provide cables and extensions. We use blue arctic cable for all our cables and extensions and each cable is fitted with an RCD (Residual Current Detection) safety plug as standard.

If there is no electricity supply nearby, can you supply a generator?
Yes, a generator can be supplied at an additional cost to cover hire and fuel.

Will it use a lot of electricity to run the fan?
Not particularly, it will probably cost around 50p to inflate a castle for the period of hire depending on the size of the castle and duration of the hire.

How and when do I pay?
Cash when the castle is delivered on day of hire or cheque only when paid 10 days in advance of hire to allow funds to clear.

What if the weather is bad on the day of the hire?
We will call you on the morning of the hire, and depending on the forecast will decide with yourself whether the hire should go ahead. If the weather is really wet with blustery wind we would cancel the hire on safety grounds. If however the forecast is for mild showery weather, we would let you decide.

Can we use the castle if it's wet?
It is not recommended to use the castle if it is wet, a quick dry with a towel in between showers will keep the castle safe.

Do the castles have rain covers?
Yes, they all have detachable rain covers that keep the children dry during light showers.

Do I need to pay a deposit when booking a castle?
No, we don't take a deposit, just full payment when castle is delivered.
